Watchpost
Support
Something broken, a charge you don't recognise, or an app that won't unlock? Write to us and a human will read it. Watchpost is a small team, so you're not going to get a ticket-bot runaround.
Email us:
support@trywatchpost.com
We aim to reply within two business days. Billing and access problems jump the queue.
Please don't reply to automated mail from noreply@trywatchpost.com — password resets and receipts come from an unmonitored address and nobody will see your reply. Always start a fresh email to the address above.
What to include
The two things that let us fix a problem quickly rather than trading three emails first:
- The email address on your Watchpost account. Not the one you're writing from, if they're different — that difference is itself the cause of a good share of "my subscription isn't working" reports.
- Which app, and what happened. What you expected, what you saw instead, and roughly when. A screenshot helps more than a description.
Never send us your password. We will never ask for it, and there is no situation where we need it to help you.
Billing, cancelling, and refunds
You can do these yourself
- Update your card
- View or download invoices
- Cancel a subscription
- Switch between monthly and annual
Write to us for these
- A charge you don't recognise
- A refund request
- Paid but the app didn't unlock
- Two accounts you'd like merged
Everything in the first column lives in the billing portal, which is hosted by Stripe. Sign in with the email on your subscription. Cancelling there takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for — you keep access until then.
Refunds
If something didn't work and you paid for it, tell us and we'll sort it out. Refunds are issued by whoever took the payment: if you bought through Watchpost, that's us. If you bought an app directly from the developer who built it, their own support handles it — the receipt in your inbox says which.
Account and sign-in
One Watchpost account signs you in to the marketplace and every app on it. If you're signed in on the main site but an app says you're signed out, tell us which app and which browser — that's usually something on our end, not yours.
Forgotten passwords reset themselves from the sign-in screen. The link is single-use and expires, so request a fresh one rather than reusing an old email.
What we can't help with
- Financial or investment advice. Capitol Pulse and CryptoPulse report public data and analysis. Nothing in any Watchpost product is a recommendation to buy or sell anything, and we can't tell you what to do with your money.
- The accuracy of upstream sources. Congressional filings, market prices, and weather data come from third parties. If a source is wrong or late, we'll tell you what we know — but do report it, because sometimes it's our bug and not theirs.
